This Director will report to the Chief Nursing Officer and will act as a liaison between the Hospital Administration and the staff. The Director is a professional nurse, responsible for directing and ensuring the coordination of patient care services in the Surgical Services Department. This role is responsible for organizing and staffing appropriately and in a manner reflective of the facility's philosophy, objective and mission. Duties of the Director include leading, supporting and encouraging the Department staff. Oversees inpatient surgery, ambulatory surgery, PACU, Pre-admission testing, and processing.
