The Director of Facilities will play a pivotal role in managing facilities, grounds, and biomedical staff. Other duties include but are not limited to:
- Ensure that testing, repairs and preventative maintenance of clinical equipment, physical plant equipment, and hospital are performed
- Maintain departmental budgets
- Schedule and lead Emergency Operations Committee (EOC) meetings
- Order all necessary equipment to support the facility management operations
- Assist with occasional construction projects
Education:
- BS Mechanical Engineering or 5 years experience with facilities management operations
- Ability to type and perform computer data entry
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
Experience:
- 5 Years experience with electric controls
- Experience with building construction and ability to read blueprints
- Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems, boilers, powered generators, water softener systems, medical gas systems and clinical devices
Licenses/Certifications:
